Danlami Aliyu worked at the Pottery Training Centre in Abuja, Nigeria under Michael OBrien. He came to the UK in October 1975 and spent a year working at Wenford Bridge with Michael Cardew. The pots shown were all made at Wenford Bridge. The oil jars were probably the earliest pots as they have Danlami's initials scratched on the base whereas the grain jar and cider jar are both stamped DA.
