This medieval style wood fired jug appeared in Phil's exhibition at the Bevere Gallery near Worcester in 2007. I attended the exhibition and was beaten to the jug by local TV celebrity and potaholic Henry Sandon. A few years later the jug appeared at auction at Mallams in Oxford and it became mine. The body of the jub is unglazed and so bears witness to the flames in the kiln.
